The Mountain Is You
This audiobook explores self-harm and delves into why we do it, when we do it, and how to stop — for the better.
Contradictory needs within coexistence create self-destructive behaviors, leading us to resist change until it feels completely futile. However, by gaining insight into our harmful habits, understanding our bodies and minds better, and developing emotional intelligence, we can release past experiences at a cellular level. Learning to act as our highest potential in the future, we can step off our current path and move toward possibility.
The greatest challenge we face is like a mountain — a metaphor used for centuries to represent obstacles that seem impossible to conquer. To measure our own mountains, we must undertake deep internal work: excavating trauma, building resilience, and preparing for ascent. This book serves as a guide to help us navigate that journey toward transformation.

An amazing book which seemed to speak to my innermost thoughts…it is very eye opening, knowledgeable and helpful and delves into the heart of self sanotage and self mastery. A book well worth listening to if you have any sense you are self sabotaging or are just looking to improve your life – lots of helpful and practical ideas and comments (sometimes ‘duh!’ moments when you realise you should already be doing them) on things you can do to bring peace and boundaries into your life. The readers voice is calm and well spoken and is lovely to listen to – brings the words to life.
