Nobody’s Girl
A Memoir of Surviving Abuse and Fighting for Justice.
Make no mistake: this is a profound exploration of power, corruption, large-scale sexual abuse, and the way institutions often prioritized protecting the perpetrators over their victims… But it is also a story of how a young woman rises to become a hero… and a testament to bravery and significance. – The Guardian
Virginia Roberts Giuffre is widely recognized as the most vocal survivor of Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell’s abuse – her decision to break her silence played a crucial role in imprisoning both serial offenders. Her photograph with Prince Andrew sparked his downfall and ignited a global conversation. Yet, her story has never been fully told in her own voice – until now.
In April 2025, Giuffre took her own life. She left behind a memoir, composed over the years leading up to her death, and made it clear she wanted her story to be shared with the world. Nobody’s Girl is the compelling and intense narrative of an ordinary girl who faced extraordinary challenges.
Within these pages, Giuffre provides a brutally honest and definitive account of her experiences with Epstein and Maxwell, who trafficked her and others to influential men. She also recounts the childhood molestation she endured and her daring escape from Epstein and Maxwell’s control at the age of nineteen. From that point, Giuffre rebuilt her life from nothing, summoning the courage to hold her abusers accountable and to champion other victims. Nobody’s Girl preserves her voice and her legacy for all time.
This memoir stands as a remarkable testament to Giuffre’s unwavering resilience – her initial fight to break free from victimhood, and her ongoing pursuit to expose evil and advocate for a safer, more just world. Partly personal and fiercely powerful, it is an extraordinary story of persistence amid depravity and despair.

“It will take years to unfurl the tentacles Epstein wrapped around finance, law, media and politics. But Nobody’s Girl floats free, self-assured and self-contained – a true American tragedy. The devastation is in the details.”
– Alexandra Jacobs, The New York Times Book Review“Make no mistake: this is a book about power, corruption, industrial-scale sex abuse and the way in which institutions sided with the perpetrator over his victims… But it is also a book about how a young woman becomes a hero… A deft [and] smart book… A clear-eyed and necessary account… Important [and] courageous.”
– Emma Brockes, The Guardian“Nobody’s Girl feels like an act of defiance not just against those who terrorized her for so long but also those who, over the years, queried her version of events… Giuffre doesn’t deserve our scrutiny so much as our admiration.”
– The Telegraph (UK)“By retelling the story from her own perspective, [Giuffre] cuts through the salacious details that became the stuff of tabloid headlines… and shows the reader the stark truth of who she was… It is a personal triumph that she chose to speak up.”
– The Observer (UK)“Giuffre’s narrative conclusively eliminates all but the most unflattering explanations for Andrew’s association with Epstein. The book benefits greatly from Giuffre’s collaborator, the highly regarded American magazine journalist Amy Wallace. Wallace never overwhelms Giuffre’s voice, but her presence is clear in the journalistic rigor that underlies the text.”
– The Times (UK)

May Virginia’s disgusting monster of a father never know a day of peace. May Virginia’s despicable mother never know a day not filled with pain. May Forest never know anything other than suffering and anguish. You’re all horrible vermin and it’s important that you all understand: it’s an unequivocal fact that “God” weeps in regret over your creations. Fuck ya’ll to hell.

My heart breaks for Virginia and I’m so proud of her courage to share her story. I’m angered by the brazen abuse of power that pedophiles flaunt. They all deserve to be castrated and jailed. I hope everyone hears this story and is moved to take action in protecting children and being their voice to protect them. Thank you Virginia for writing this. Shame on all of the people involved in abusing girls ruining their innocence. Well written and even though it’s painful to hear about what evil exists and what they get away with, it’s important to be aware of it and to continue the fight against their crimes.

Gutted. The world lost a fearless truth-teller. Virginia Roberts Giuffre tore through the walls of privilege and silence that protected predators for decades. Her story should haunt every newsroom and courtroom that looked away. Now the question isn’t who will speak truth to power; it’s who will finish what she started. No more deference, no more cover-ups. The powerful only fear exposure, so TURN ON EVERY LIGHT.

I loved the book, just wish we knew more names but I do get it, The men involved in this are rich and powerful and do not mind taking a life. People that haven’t suffered this kind of abuse may not get it. I have more respect for her after reading this, I’ve always been proud of her but this book was so raw and she is laying her life out there for all to see. RIP sweet Jen, there will be peace for you now!❤️
